About Cora

Cora is a table lamp shaped like a bird — a magpie perched on a little stand. Its belly is white, and that's the part that glows. The head, back, tail and stand come in a silver, gold, light wood or dark wood finish.

You control it with a tap on the head. No switch, no dimmer on the cable, no remote. One tap turns it on; a touch dims it.

It's cordless. The 1,800 mAh battery charges via USB in 1–3 hours and lasts up to 15 hours. So it can sit in the window, come to bed with you or stand on a shelf nowhere near a plug socket.

The light is warm. 3000 K on the warm setting — the same end of the scale as a classic filament bulb. If you'd rather have white light, you can switch the tone all the way up to 6000 K.

On its back is a little keyring on a short chain. It's detachable.

lovely, but the white setting

Nice-looking lamp and the warm light is every bit as warm as it says. The white setting is unnecessarily harsh for us, we only use the warm one. Charge it about once a week.
